Naomi Keefe, global mission worker, Brazil Give thanks for the wide range of activities that are getting going again now that carnival is past. Pray for the puppeteers, the drama and singing groups that are all practicing their parts as they prepare for the evangelistic events in the Peixinhos and Beberibe communities, as well as for the visit to the nursing home in the old part of Olinda, all planned for the end of March. 
Faculté Jean Calvin, France (FJC) Give thanks for Gordon Campbell’s ongoing engagement with FJC, for the opportunity to teach in-person a new Gospels Short Course last autumn and for ongoing interactions with the students, including supervision of a master’s student’s dissertation.  Pray for FJC’s administrative director, Kim Tran, as he oversees day-to-day operations at the college.

Give thanks for the exciting ministry opportunity and pray that the Lord would lead the right person to this.

BOWLING SERVICE
Sunday Evening was the Annual Bowling Service organised by Burnside Indoor Bowling Club. We were joined by Coleraine Community Choir, Rev. Dr. David Murphy was our speaker and £727 was raised for the Chest Heart And Stroke Association. Supper was enjoyed in the Church Hall when the Choir sang again.

​ModeratorPray for the next Clerk of the General Assembly and those who will be considering this important position in our denomination. The job has now been advertised and the leading of God will be necessary to secure the right candidate.
Worship: Experiencing God’s grace  As we worship today ask God to help us to know his forgiving and sustaining grace, pardoning 
our sins and providing for all our needs.

Derek and Jane French, global mission workers, Spain   Pray for Derek and Jane, that they would both continue to make steady recoveries following significant health issues. Give thanks for the life and witness of Bilbao International Church, and for the new families and students who have been attending, that they would feel warmly welcomed.
United Mission to Nepal (UMN) Give thanks for UMN’s integrated project in Mugu since 1999. Pray for the UMN team serving there as they hand over the leadership to local community organisations towards the end of this year. Pray for the women, children and families still living in isolation; for wisdom and insight for local leaders, teachers, and health workers who will be stepping into greater responsibility.

Sunnyside House
Sunnyside House is PCI’s residential care facility in Bangor. It is a 45-bed unit offering care and support to older people in a Christian environment and welcomes people from all denominations. Give thanks for the staff who are dedicated to this work and ministry. Pray for manager Michelle Stewart and the staff team as they continue to promote integrity in their daily practices and that hearts remain full of compassion for those who reside in the home. 
Council for Public Affairs (CPA)Please pray for the Council for Public Affairs, which is due to meet on 12 March. Pray for the Council 
and its members as they seek to identify and address current topical issues on which the Church seeks to have its voice heard clearly in the public square. Pray for the convener, Rev Daniel Kane and for the Public Affairs Officer, Rebecca Stevenson, for God’s continued guiding and leading in their roles.

​Mission in Ireland Evenings Pray for the series of Mission in Ireland evenings being hosted by presbyteries in March, in particular South Belfast Presbytery on Sunday 8 March in Fisherwick and Ballymena Presbytery on Wednesday 11 March in Clough. Pray for those speaking and contributing to the evenings and that all who attend will be informed and encouraged. More info here: Events
Shirley McGonigle, International Meeting Point North Belfast Give thanks for the new people who continue to come. Pray that God would fill staff and volunteers with his Spirit to bring life and hope in Jesus’ name. Pray that during Ramadan we will speak of Christ as people seek God.
