Ireland the numberof people diagnosed with dementia is increasing and currently there are approximately 20,000 people diagnosed. The stress of day-to-day care as you watch a loved one’s health deteriorate can often be overwhelming and can leave carers exhausted. Pray that people will not feel alone and isolated and that they will be able to get advice and support from both Health and Social Care services and voluntary services specialising in this area. I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE
On Sunday morning, we were thinking about Jesus saying, “I am the way, and the truth and the life”. On Sunday afternoon Liverpool lifted the Premiership Trophy. You are probably wondering why I should bring these two events together. (And I am sorry to mention this for supporters of other teams, but I had to share the photo below) Alisson Becker, the Liverpool Goalkeeper didn’t say in any interviews that he had been watching our Livestream on Sunday morning but he was seen wearing a rather special T-Shirt as he celebrated Liverpool’s 20th League Trophy at Anfield. |
