Leaders in Training (LITs) Give thanks for PCI’s ongoing provision of scholarship funding for partner church leaders in training, especially those who are preparing for roles in mission, ministry and strategic leadership in countries like India and Myanmar where Christians are a small minority, at times persecuted. Let’s Pray For Carlisle HouseAddiction is an ever-growing problem throughout Ireland. Pray for those suffering, that they may get the right help and support to overcome their addiction problems. Pray for Carlisle House as it provides addiction support. Pray for its service users, that they will use their time in Carlisle House to rebuild their lives and that they will resist the desire to return to their past habits and behaviours. Poverty Pray for the Department of Communities as they continue to work on the Northern Ireland Anti-Poverty Strategy. Pray for all those struggling and living in poverty across Ireland. Give thanks for organisations like Christians Against Poverty and others who support people overwhelmed by debt and financial challenges. Pray that those who are in difficulty will find ways to access the support they need. Give thanks that the young people were attentive and disciplined during the engaging teaching sessions. Pray that these camps would bear fruit in the lives of many. Presbyterian Church of Myanmar (PCM) The situation in Myanmar continues to worsen, especially in some regions where PCM members are located and facing immense challenges for their daily survival. Pray especially for an end to blockades enforced by the authorities that have been leading to severe shortages of goods, medicines, and electronic supplies.
