Even if you don’t have the book you can still listen each day, but the book will contain additional information including prayers and a pattern of worship to follow each day. There are also songs to listen to each day of Lent and a Lent playlist.
Remember that there will be readings Monday to Saturday each week with a break each Sunday.

Let’s Pray For Trinity Cork and Aghada 
Give thanks for the work of Gavin Doyle (community outreach worker), praying particularly for the ongoing English language classes and Christianity Explored course. Pray for the members of Aghada to live for the glory of God all the more.

South Belfast Friendship House 
​Pray for the new programme developments, which include a women’s Bible study and a men’s breakfast. Give thanks for the women who have recently given their lives to Jesus.

Let’s Pray For St Petersburg Christian University, Russia  
Pray for the theological students at the university as they prepare to become pastors and leaders in churches throughout Russia. Pray for the lecturers and support staff as they prepare course work, provide pastoral care for the students and seek godly wisdom for every situation.

Persecuted Church  
​Pray for the countless Christians in many countries who are facing daily persecution and often death for following Jesus. Pray that they may have resilience in the face of danger and know God’s presence and enabling in every situation. Remember the agencies who are supporting them in practical ways. Praise God that in spite of persecution the Church in many of these countries is growing rapidly.

ANNUAL BOWLING SERVICE
Sunday evening was the Annual Service organised by our Indoor Bowling Club, Rev. Alan Dickey was the guest speaker and Coleraine Community Choir Led The Praise. £1004 was raised for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Let’s Pray For General Council  
Pray for the General Council as it meets during the week to receive reports from committees and task groups, many of which will be forwarded to the General Assembly in June for decision.

Training in Ministry
The Council has recently advertised for the post of Dean of Ministerial Studies & Development – a 3-year, fixed-term post, based in Union College, working with ministry enquirers, applicants, students, licentiates and ministers. The post is open to ministers in PCI. Pray that the Lord would call the minister of his choice to serve in this role.

Let’s Pray For Child protection   
Around 2,000 children in Northern Ireland each year are identified as needing protection from abuse. Please pray for these vulnerable children, and for ministers, designated persons and others within congregations who are dealing with difficult child protection issues. Pray for guidance and wisdom as they work together to resolve issues and help in situations that are challenging.

Public Affairs  
​Pray for those who are living in poverty and those who are homeless. Thank you, Lord, for the work of charities such as Christians Against Poverty (CAP), please Lord help anyone who is struggling with poverty and homelessness to find the support they need.
