Prayer Points For Summer Exodus Team

Eden shared the following points for prayer on Sunday in Church

• Pray for Exodus and the work it does to help young people to develop a closer relationship with God.
• Pray that we would grow closer as a team and be role models both in Donaghadee and when we return home and to school.
• Pray for all the activities we have organised for the children and pray for the courage we need to be able to lead.
• Also, pray for the children who will come along in Donaghadee and for their families that they would come to know and to love God too.

7th-13th May
Pray for UCD students as their exams begin. Pray for the anxiety and worry students can feel around this time. Pray that they would be relying on God’s strength and not their own and through this busy time that they would continue to a be light to their friends.
Pray for planning for new student leaders in Cork at UCC and MTU, as they seek to build on the great connections that were made with people over the last year and plan to reach their campuses even more fully in the next academic year.

Let’s Pray For Moderator
Our ultimate vision must always be the Glory of Christ. May we join with Moses and plead “show us your glory”. May this unite us, direct us and liberate us.

‘Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song’. Psalm 95:2. Thank God for those who lead us in musical accompaniment in worship today. Ask him to help us to respond to his invitation to praise him in music and song.

Give thanks that Naomi had a safe journey back to Kenya following deputation, and pray for good rains and a bountiful harvest in Kenya in the coming months.

Let’s Pray For Topley CourtPartof the Willow Brook project, the Topley Court bungalows are dedicated to the care of individuals with a physical disability. Give thanks for the tenants and pray for the staff as they work to support tenants. Pray also that we might be aware of the additional needs of those with physical disabilities and facilitate them in membership and leadership. Give thanks for an increasing level of awareness of disability within our denomination.

Press & Media        Give thanks for the freedom of the press in the UK and Ireland. Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who have made journalism their career, that they would be salt and light in their places of work and amongst the many people they meet throughout the course of their work. 

General Council

Pray for His majesty King Charles III as he is crowned in Westminster Abbey. Pray that the service of worship and the vows taken might enable all concerned and all who watch and listen to focus, not just on the coronation, but on the supremacy of the King of Kings, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Council for Training in MinistryAn event is being held on Wednesday 24 May,* led by the Pastoral Care for Ministers and their Families Panel. The Moderator is the keynote speaker, and the aim is to support presbyteries in their work of caring for ministers and their families. Pray for the Moderator as he speaks, and for all who attend on behalf of their presbytery.

Let’s Pray For Philip Whelton, Irish mission worker in Arklow  Give thanks for the many opportunities to share the gospel through various activities during the week. Pray for the children who have registered for the holiday Bible club in August and for all the leaders who volunteer for this important week for the church and community.

Enniscorthy and Wexford     Give thanks for the witness of these two congregations over the years and pray for the remaining members in this time of vacancy as they deal with change. Pray that God would direct the next steps.
