​Pray for the strength and resilience of church leaders in the region and for those congregations that are fearful they could become a target for attack, especially at times of Christian celebration.

Pray for the Bible Club running from 7 to 11 July, an event which is usually well attended by children, teens and parents in the town. Pray for new connections to be made and relationships developed.

Heather McCracken, deaconess, healthcare chaplaincy 
​Pray for hospital staff at the bedside, in the wards, in the corridors, at the computer, that they would be given patience, skill and compassion. Pray also for hospital chaplains working in busy hospital wards, that they would be strengthened by God's love to bring blessing to those they encounter.

​Please remember Rt Rev Patrick Thegu Mutahi, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, whose wife, Winnie Wanjiru, passed away recently. Pray that God would comfort and sustain Rt Rev Mutahi, together with his family circle, and the wider PCEA family during this time of bereavement.

Let’s Pray For Illness   
Pray for those in our families and friendship circles who have suffered sudden illness recently. Give thanks for the NHS and healthcare professionals, including paramedics and rapid response teams who are often heroes in emergency situations – providing care when those who take ill suddenly, need it the most.

Education 
Pray for all young people and teachers as they prepare for summer exams and make decisions about their futures. Pray for wisdom for teachers and parents, and for young people that they will be able to study to the best of their abilities.
