We continue in Paul’s letter to the Philippians - Finding Joy Right Here. Paul reminds us that we are citizens of Heaven but we still have to live right here everyday as disciples of Jesus Christ. Each day we have a short devotional video based on some verses from the letter.

Let’s Pray For ModeratorAs the Platinum Jubilee of the reign of The Queen is marked throughout the United Kingdom in coming days, we give thanks for her godly influence as Head of State. Similarly, we pray for the President of Ireland, and all those in elected office in both jurisdictions on this island.
Answering God’s invitation to worship Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. Ask God to help us come just as we are to him in worship and find his rest and peace in believing. Gary and Mary Reid (global mission workers, Kenya) Pray for Gary and Mary and their ongoing mission within Maasailand. Give thanks for the many practical ways through which they show God’s love to others. Pray that God’s Holy Spirit will work mightily in the lives of the Maasai people. Afghanistan Pray for the people of Afghanistan, especially those struggling to afford enough food and other basic necessities. Pray too for our partners Christian Aid Ireland and Tearfund helping those in need. |

This week on Facing the Canon, J.John speaks with Rachel Mackenzie, an inspirational woman who, having had two abortions herself, is now supporting others who have had similar experiences. Rachel describes her experiences of abuse, abortion and grief, and explains how she discovered hope, healing and forgiveness through the work of Rachel's Vineyard.
This song appeared on Spotify the other day and I thought I would share it with you. It is about being open to the plans that God has for us.
"God's word encourages us to remember that Christian faith is an enduring faith that remains resolute. It is possible to remain obedient to God's commands even when everything around us seems to contradict what He has promised." —Alistair Begg Devotion: https://bit.ly/3wIUHvD
