Churches should be leading climate change action, says Church of Scotland
Local students in Liverpool will be calling for world leaders to take urgent action on the climate crisis at two major landmarks in the city today. It is part of a campaign by Christian charity CAFOD involving over 14,000 schoolchildren, ahead of the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow. Some of them will be holding an 'Eyes of the World' banner at the Liver Building and the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral later. Meanwhile, the Church in Scotland’s been highlighting the effects of climate change as the conference in November nears. Carol Finlay from the Church shared some stories with UCB News reporter Ethel Mudavanhu.
