Tides continues with the theme of Resurrection this morning.
When the disciples met with the risen Lord Jesus, He blessed them with Peace and His Holy Spirit.
Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.John 20:21,22
This was a time when the disciples were worried for their safety, they were gathering behind locked doors, knowing that Jesus had been crucified and they could be next. In the middle of a self imposed Lockdown, Jesus brings Peace and Holy Spirit. Today in the middle of our Lockdown, Jesus brings Peace and His Holy Spirit. Spiritually what more could we need or want?
John DIckinson encourages us to use this first verse of hymn as a prayer.
Breathe on me, Breath of God,
Fill me with life anew,
That I may love what thou dost love,
And do what thou wouldst do.

Portstewart
Out for my one exercise walk yesterday, and I took a photograph of the promenade to show how empty it is, if you look really, really closely you might be able to find a member of Burnside also out for a walk.
I’m sure many of you saw the beautiful sunset last night, I was so wishing we could go down to the beach again to take a photo, this one from our Garden will have to do. We are so blessed to be living in Portstewart at a time when many are confined to homes in built up towns and cities.
