This week we continue a brand new series for the summer, “Meals With Jesus!”.
One of the things that we have all missed during the Covid Restrictions is being able to eat together with friends and family. These are always such important occasions when we catch up, encourage one another and learn about each other’s lives. In church we have missed sharing those cups of tea and catching up, so this summer we are going to eat a number of meals with Jesus, continuing this week at the Home of Levi The Tax-Collector.
Each day we look in a little more detail at the passage from Sunday - Luke 5:27-32
Let’s Pray For Chris and Rachel Humphries (global mission workers in Portugal)
Pray for Chris and Rachel over the coming weeks as they take responsibility for the weekly running of the church whilst James and Heather Cochrane are on home assignment. Pray especially for Chris as he leads most of the Bible teaching and preaching. Global Mission – Covid-19 Pray for those living in countries where healthcare and state support is limited and for all across the world suffering directly or indirectly due to the Covid-19 pandemic. |
“Reading Between The Lines” a series working through the bible looking at the well known phrases.
Eat Drink And Be Merry For Tomorrow We Die

Christian Unions Ireland
The prayer points for this week. 5 – 11 August The Northern team are running Equip:Lead over the summer with CU leaders across Belfast and the North–west diving deeply into areas of faith, culture and leadership. Pray for long–term impact for Christian leaders, for them to thrive no matter what they do after university. Pray for Flux:Freshers – another new resource (following on from Flux:School Leavers) helping those heading to university to engage more with God’s Word and apply that to their lives. Pray it would reach many freshers and be a really helpful starting point for them. |
The Murals continue to take shape.
I know that it can be really boring watching other people’s holiday videos, but if you are interested here are a few very short videos from our time in Devon.
