Joy In Pressing On
Let’s Pray For - Media and online communication
Pray for the media as they communicate the unfolding story of these days and comment on events, asking that God would use this vital ingredient of encouraging rebuilding of normal life and society. Pray for ongoing positive use of online and social media to maintain relationships and to encourage one another, asking that God would help us to grow in harnessing available technology for good. |

Anne Calver has written a fascinating article about the lessons we can learn as the church from Jürgen Klopp. Even if you don’t know much about football there are some great lessons here. She writes - “Watching Liverpool become Premier League Champions so emphatically this season, despite the impact of coronavirus, has been inspiring to many. The key figure behind so much of this success has arguably not been one individual player but the manager Jürgen Klopp. As a church leader I’m wondering what lessons there are from his leadership.”

Yesterday’s Where Is It? was indeed the Port-a-loo which mysteriously appeared at the end of the Crescent, and the very day that I posted the picture it disappeared. It was also padlocked so not for general use. No idea who owns it or where it went to. (Before lockdown I wouldn’t have given a Port-a-loo on the Prom a second thought, it is strange how your horizons contract).
