Advent Devotional Series
This year we will be using the book “Sing In Exhaltation” by Jonathan Laundry Cruse to guide us through the Advent Season. There will be a supporting podcast each day on the Church Blog.
On Sunday there will be a sheet to sign so that we can order the books in time for December.
Buying the books in bulk will result in significant discounts so please consider also buying for friends and family as a meaningful gift this year.
The books are £7 each but if we order multiple copies the price reduces (£5 each for 10) (£4 each for 25) (£2 each for 50) (£1 each for 100)
You can read a sample here Sing In Exhultation
From the cover of the book:
Carol singing is as indispensible to the festive season as decking the halls and swapping gifts. Each daily devotional unpacks a verse from a well-known carol, uncovering riches in the familiar words we love to sing. This book will help you tune your heart (and mind) to the melody (and mystery) of the gospel.

Dear Friends of Burnside,

We warmly invite you to join us this Sunday as we invite our Girls’ Brigade Company and their families (and everyone else) to our annual G.B. Enrolment Service. The loose offering on Sunday will be given to the GB charity this year - Habitat For Humanity. Habitat for Humanity, Ireland is part of a wider international Christian housing organisation that helps families and communities to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter in 70 countries around the world. Please give generously.

Whether you are a regular attendee, haven't been in a while, or are looking for a church home, why not join us this Sunday at 11:00am. There will be a cuppa after the service in the Main Hall.

Thank you for the overwhelming response to the Ashes To Gold Food Bank Appeal at Harvest. The food was delivered on Monday to the Coleraine Charity and was greatly appreciated by the Coordinator David McCracken. (Hopefully his Thankyou letter is attached to this email.)

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
