Dear Friends of Burnside,
This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Burnside Presbyterian Church and to mark the occasion the Moderator Rt. Rev. Dr. Richard Murray will conduct worship at 11:00am on Sunday 6th April 2025. We would love you to join with us on that Sunday for Worship
This Sunday, we continue to think about Doors, looking at how Locked Doors Are Opened By God and we will be reading John 20:19-30.

Next Sunday, 11:00am 6th April 2025 we will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of our Congregation with Rt. Rev. Dr. Richard Murray, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church In Ireland. Everyone is very welcome to join us. If you have booked for the meal please make sure that you have paid by this Sunday.

Thank you to everyone involved with our Annual Bowling Service last Sunday Evening. £1004 was raised for The Alzheimer’s Society.

The Lenten Bible Study continues Monday to Saturday, you can follow along on the Church Website.

Easter Young People’s Mission Week
14th-18th April organised by the youth workers in the local churches with events taking place at Portstewart Baptist Church.
Kids Club 10:30am-12:30pm
Street Reach 10:30am-12:30pm
Youth 7:30pm-9:30pm
Anyone 14+ can volunteer to help and Adults especially needed for Street Reach, helping in practical ways around the town. Help with Catering and providing traybakes for the week would also be appreciated. See Richard for more details.

Joining with Portstewart Presbyterian and Portstewart Baptist Churches at 6:00am Easter Sunday 20th April on the Harbour Hill, followed by breakfast in Portstewart Presbyterian Church Hall
Girls’ Brigade
Every Tuesday Night.
Explorers - Age 3-7 years old 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Company - Age 8-18 years Old 7:00pm - 8:15pm

Barnabas Aid Food Appeal
With the help of Barnabas Aid, the PW are contributing dried food to be sent by Container to Christians in Lebanon. If you would like to help, please bring food and leave in the vestibule over the next few weeks. Items that are required - Rice, Salt, Sugar, Lentils, Chickpeas, Dried Beans, Dried Broad Beans and Dried Peas, in bags only (No Tins) Please ensure that the Best Before Date is at least 10 months ahead. There will be Music Exams taking place in the Church Halls on Tuesday 1st (8am - 1pm) and Wednesday 2nd April (8am-8pm)
Please plan ahead if you need access to the Halls.
Music Festival
The Portstewart Music Festival will be held in the Church Halls from Monday 7th April - Saturday 12th April.
There will be access to the church and Room 1 but not the rest of the Halls.
Samaritan’s Purse (Shoebox Appeal)
A number of events are being hosted by First Coleraine Presbyterian Church on Wednesday 4th June 2025
Breakfast for Elders and Committee Members 9:30am Please RSVP to [email protected] by Wednesday 16th April, this will help with catering arrangements.
