Dear Friends of Burnside,


This week we continue to think about the resurrection and how we can find Jesus in Our Daily Lives, as we head towards Ascension Sunday and Pentecost. As we have been travelling on the Road To The Cross before Easter, on Sunday we travel to Emmaus with the two disciples and Jesus. Our bible reading is Luke 24:13-35.

Classic Car-Display
As part of the NW200 week there will be a display of Classic Cars in the Church Car-park from 12noon til 7pm This Tuesday 5th May 2026
If you would be able to provide tray-bakes or cakes please bring along on Sunday or Monday to the Church Hall. This is a great opportunity for Fund Raising.


Audio/Visuals
If you would like to help with the Audio/Visuals on a Sunday in Church please speak to Sam or Richard. (Full training will be given) We hope to form a rota so that the commitment would be one Sunday a month.

Representatives from Community Policing will attend Drop-In on Thursday 28th May 2026 to give information about on-line safety.

Morning Conference For Women

Speaker: Jo Frost
The conference welcomes women of all ages from PCI congregations, PW groups and women’s groups. It offers a chance to gather from across Ireland to worship and celebrate God’s work in our lives and in his church. The theme will be, “Generation to generation” (Psalm 79:13), encouraging women to think biblically about the God of every generation and how faith can be passed on in a chaotic world.
The cost is £10 (euro equivalent). Early bird offer available.
