About Us
Welcome to Burnside Presbyterian Church Online.
We are located in the picturesque seaside town of Portstewart on the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland.
Join with us on any Sunday as we worship God together. You will receive a friendly welcome and we trust you will want to return again.
Burnside Congregation was first planted in 1974, and began meeting in Burnside Orange Hall. In 1978 the foundation stone was laid for a dual-purpose hall on the current Mill Road site, and the hall was opened the following year. In 1989 work started on a new church building which was joined to the existing hall and was dedicated in 1990.
In 1995 Burnside moved from a church extension charge to become a fully constituted congregation within the Presbyterian Church In Ireland.
The Congregation meets for worship each Sunday and a range of activities through out the week.
