On Sunday 1st May 2016 our Minister Emeritus Rev. Eric Borland celebrated the 75th Anniversary of his ordination. The Moderator and Richard visited Rev. & Mrs Borland at home in Towell House, Belfast. Richard brought greetings and flowers from Burnside congregation and the Moderator Rt. Rev. Dr. Ian McNie brought the greetings of the General Assembly.

The Burnside Indoor Bowling Club held their annual church service on Sunday evening 10th April 2016. Rev. John Stanbridge was the guest speaker, and the praise was led by the Coleraine Community Choir. Mr Sam Nevin, the bowling club Captain is pictured presenting a cheque for £1000 to N.I. Chest, Heart and Stroke.
On Easter Sunday, we gathered on the Harbour Hill at 7:00am for our Dawn Service, joining with Portstewart Presbyterian and Portstewart Baptist churches. Afterwards we enjoyed breakfast at The Rock.
The Annual PW Service was held on Sunday Evening 20th March. The Rt. Rev. Dr. Ian McNie and his wife Anne were our special guests and the praise was led by the Causeway Chorale.
The Friendship Hour enjoyed an Afternoon Tea followed by a Traditional Irish Sing-a-long for St. Patrick's Day with Rev. Joe McCormick and Jean Bothwell.
The annual Carol Service took place on Sunday evening the 20th December 2015. The praise was led by the choir, the music group played before the service and everyone enjoyed mince pies and shortbread in the church hall afterwards.
At the PW Christmas meal, Kathleen Stewart was presented with a gift by Deirdre Gregg on behalf of Burnside PW to mark 19 years service as Wider World Agent. Kathleen (seated) is pictured with Frances Bleakley (PW Group Leader) (left) and Deirdre Gregg (right).
The Friendship Hour held their Christmas meal in the church hall at 12:30pm on Tuesday 15th December 2015.
The members of PW and their husbands enjoyed their annual Christmas Meal on Monday 14th December at the Royal Court Hotel, Portrush.
