Dear Friends of Burnside,

When all seems lost, where do you turn? Join us this Sunday as we see King Hezekiah cry out to God, the mighty fortress who hears our prayers. Discover the power of boldly spreading your needs before the Lord. Isaiah 37

Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it. Then he went up to the temple of the LORD and spread it out before the LORD. 15 And Hezekiah prayed to the LORD: 16 “LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.
Isaiah 37:14-16

make him an outcast or socially isolated is awesome and inspirational.”

Brian is one of the survivors of the ‘miracle drug’ Thalidomide used on the UK market during the early 1960’s. To the shock of his parents, he was born with no arms.
His feet are his hands, his legs his arms, each word uttered is underlined with a gesture of his leg and foot. As he explains - ‘the only time his feet are at rest is when he is walking’.
“Brian’s story is lively, funny, challenging and moving – it has already encouraged thousands of lives.”
Please prayerfully consider inviting at least one other person to come and hear this remarkable story.

Dear Friends of Burnside,

The Redeemer’s Road - A Journey Into Grace. This Sunday we're exploring Isaiah's highway to hope and God's promise of joy. We'll hear how Christ's redemption transforms blindness into sight on the journey to Zion. Join us as we walk the holy way to springs in the wasteland, Isaiah 35.

“The ransomed of the Lord will return.
They will enter Zion with singing;
everlasting joy will crown their heads.
Gladness and joy will overtake them,
and sorrow and sighing will flee away.”
Isaiah 35:10

Dear Friends of Burnside,

This week we continue our search for “A New Hope For The New Year” as we turn to Isaiah 28. We are presented with two ways to live our lives. Will we hear the life giving word of God or will it just be Blah Blah Blah? Join us on Sunday as we draw from the wells of Salvation.

So this is what the Sovereign LORD says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone,
a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation;
the one who relies on it
will never be stricken with panic.
17 I will make justice the measuring line
and righteousness the plumb line;
hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie,
and water will overflow your hiding place.
Isaiah 28:16-17 (NIV)

Dear Friends of Burnside,

This week we continue our search for “A New Hope For The New Year” as we turn to sing a song of praise from Isaiah 25. We will discover the hope that we have of feasting with Jesus when he returns.

1 In that day, everyone in the land of Judah will sing this song:
Our city is strong!
We are surrounded by the walls of God’s salvation.
2 Open the gates to all who are righteous;
allow the faithful to enter.
3 You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
4 Trust in the LORD always,
for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock.
Isaiah 26:1-4 (NLT)
