Finding Mercy In The Way Of Sorrow

Dear Friends of Burnside,

This Sunday, we will celebrate Palm Sunday and the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. As we wave our palm branches and sing "Hosanna!", we will also explore the depths of sorrow and struggle that ultimately led to Christ's sacrifice and victory.

The Scripture teaches us that "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5). As we transition from Lament to Celebration during this Holy Week, may our hearts be prepared to fully experience the joy of the resurrection!

I encourage you to join us this Sunday.

Finding Mercy In The Way Of Sorrow

Dear Friends of Burnside,

This Sunday, March 17th, we will be remembering Patrick's Gospel legacy and once again we'll be exploring rich biblical truths from Lamentations 4.

We will be considering how the Israelites thought “It will never happen to us!”. We will focus on how we can stand firm in our faith even during life's darkest trials. We'll discover hope and encouragement from God's Word as we learn to trust in His sovereign plan and await His promised restoration.

Whether you are walking through a difficult season or simply need to be refreshed by the steadfast love of God, came and share in fellowship as we worship our risen Saviour.

I pray you will join us this Sunday as we seek spiritual nourishment and long to have our faith strengthened. Let's gather together as God's people to proclaim His faithfulness and experience His abiding presence.
