Information For The Week Ahead
This week the Portstewart Music Festival is taking place in the Church Hall from Monday to Friday, so please not any changes to the usual routine.
Choir Practices
Choir practices begin this Sunday after church in preparation for Easter Sunday, new members of the choir will be very welcome. Practices will also take place on Sunday 17th & 24th.
Defibrillator Training
Defibrillator training will take place at 7pm this Wednesday 13th March (duration 2) hours.
Friendship Hour
Join us at the Friendship Hour for our Easter Afternoon Tea 2:00pm Tuesday 19th March. If you would like to attend please give your name to Helen or David Murphy.
Lenten Bible Study
If you would like to discuss what we have been learning from our Lenten Journey there will be another opportunity to meet this Tuesday 12th March at 11:00am in the Church. Everyone is very welcome and last week we had a very helpful discussion about what we have been reading from Lamentations.
Girls’ Brigade
GB continues this Tuesday.
Explorers (3-7 year olds) 6pm-7pm
Company section (8 - 18year olds) 7pm- 8.15pm
Prayer Meeting
9:30am Wednesday in Church
Community Cafe - Drop-In
The Drop-In will not be taking place this week but continues next Thursday 10:30am - 12noon. Do invite others to come and join us. Free tea/Coffee scones, biscuits and a chat.
Mission In Ireland Rally
7:00pm Sunday 17th March in Terrace Row, Presbyterian Church, Coleraine, come along to hear about PCI Mission in Ireland with Rev. Graham Stockdale - Chaplain in Maghaberry Prision and Rev. Alistair Dunlop Jr. Minister in Howth and Malahide.
Ordination Of Elders in Portstewart Presbyterian Church
3 New Elders will be ordained in Portstewart Presbyterian Church at 6:30pm on Sunday 24th March when Anne Freeman and I will be part of the Commission of Presbytery and I will be preaching the charge to the New Elders. An invitation has been extended to our congregation to attend this special service.
Lent Devotional Series
“Finding Mercy On The Way Of Sorrow” by Robin Ham is our guide to the book of Lamentations this Lent. Books are still available for £3 in the vestibule.

The Blog continues every weekday on the Church Website, there will be a short devotional Podcast/Video complimenting the book “Finding Mercy On The Way Of Sorrow” during Lent with some topics for prayer, articles to read, music to listen to and Jigsaws to puzzle you.
