Palm Sunday

“Who Are You Jesus?” - “I Am The Good Shepherd”

Dear Friends of Burnside,

This Sunday we ask once again, “Who Are You Jesus?”, and we hear the reply “I Am The Good Shepherd”. Those who first heard Jesus say these words would have been shocked because they knew the implications of what Jesus was saying. We will be reading from John 10:11-18 and you might find it interesting to read what Ezekiel has to say about the Shepherd in Ezekiel 34.

Sunday is also Palm Sunday and we will be meditating on Jesus entering Jerusalem as he journeys to the cross.

I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.

Dear Friends of Burnside,

What do you know with absolute certainty?

This Sunday, we continue our sermon series titled "What Do You Know?" inspired by a Naval Chaplain's unique approach to starting meaningful conversations. Instead of asking the usual "How are you?" and getting the predictable "I'm fine," he simply asks people "What do you know?"

This week, we are turning to the Apostle Paul and asking him “What Do You Know?” Finding out what gave Paul confidence in God’s Word.

Join us this Sunday at 11:00am

Whether you're going through challenges or simply seeking deeper spiritual truth, this service will help you discover what you truly know about God and His faithfulness.

Why not bring a friend who might be searching for certainty in their own life.

50th Anniversary
This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Burnside Presbyterian Church and to mark the occasion the Moderator Rt. Rev. Dr. Richard Murray will conduct worship on Sunday 6th April 2025. Please keep that date in your diary and tell anyone who has had any connection with our Church.
