 WELCOME Welcome To Burnside At Home - Christmas Morning - Jesus The Game Changer. This may be the first time you can remember not meeting with God’s people to celebrate Emmanuel on Christmas Morning. Wherever you are today and what ever your circumstances, take time to remember the Saviour. Below is a short service of worship and another video for a little extra.  WELCOME Welcome To Burnside At Home - The (Un)Expected Carol Service. 10 years ago in 2010 we had to cancel our Carol Service because the snow meant access to the church building was restricted. (The photograph above was taken in 2010) This year due to Coronavirus restrictions and safety concerns we are not having our Carol Service in the Meeting House but because of advances in technology over those 10 years we are able to have our service Online. Various members of the congregation are taking part in the (Un)Expected Carol Service. Thank you to Eileen who has recorded so many pieces during December and thank you to Sam Leslie for helping me with recording the services. No one person should ever have to sit through so many of my sermons and often multiple times. We have been experimenting with the way we record the service in an attempt to prepare to offer a livestream at 11:00am each Sunday (a recording will also be available for viewing later). We are also trying to provide a video feed into the church hall so that more people can worship in the building on a Sunday, as social distancing means there is only room for 50. The new recording process means that the Powerpoint Slides and Videos which are shown in church are also included in the hall and the recording and the sound should also be a lot clearer. Having said all that, the recording process this week proved quite difficult as we tried out different cameras and equipment, but hopefully we have learnt a lot and next week should be smoother.
