WELCOME
Welcome To Burnside At Home

This week is the second Sunday of Advent which is Bible Sunday so we turn to Nehemiah 8 as God’s word causes a people in crisis to find their Joy In The Strength Of the Lord.
We hear about the work of the Bible Society and the Rev. Terry McMullan tells us about “The Situation of PCI’s Global Mission Workers And Their Families During This Advent Season.”

REOPENING
God willing, next week 13th December 2020 we gather in the Meeting House at 11:00am. Burnside At Home will continue online. Do check the website for any last minute changes.

If you are interested this is why the video has changed this week.
We have been experimenting with the way we record the service in an attempt to prepare to offer a  livestream at 11:00am each Sunday (a recording will also be available for viewing later). We are also trying to provide a video feed into the church hall so that more people can worship in the building on a Sunday, as social distancing means there is only room for 50. The new recording process means that the Powerpoint Slides and Videos which are shown in church are also included in the hall and the recording and the sound should also be a lot clearer.
Having said all that, the recording process this week proved quite difficult as we tried out different cameras and equipment, but hopefully we have learnt a lot and next week should be smoother.
Thank you to Sam Leslie who showed never ending patience as we recorded and re-recorded the service  this week.
