This Sunday we are continuing our summer series "Meeting Jesus on the Seashore," but this week, we are venturing into deeper waters! We discover that on the seashore we are not alone and we will explore the powerful story of Jesus walking on water from Mark 6:45-56, alongside insights from Job 9:4-12. We'll be diving deep into what it means to truly know Jesus, especially in times of struggle and uncertainty.

Whether you're a regular attendee, haven't been in a while, or are considering visiting for the first time, this is an opportunity to move beyond shallow waters and encounter Jesus in a profound way.

Everyone is welcome, so why not invite family, friends, or neighbours. If you're on holiday in Portstewart, we'd love to have you join us to worship.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday as we meet Jesus on the Seashore.

Dear Friends of Burnside,

I hope this email finds you well. I want to extend a warm invitation to you to join us for our Sunday morning worship service this week in Burnside.

Our service will focus on the powerful encounter recorded in Mark 5:21-43, where Jesus heals a suffering woman and raises a little girl from the dead. In this passage, we'll see that despite the lies this world tells us, we deeply matter to God our Father.

In a culture that often leaves us feeling insignificant and forgotten, we'll be reminded through God's Word that we are known, loved, and created by Him to have an eternal relationship as His children. What a precious truth!

I’d be delighted to have you join us this Sunday at 11:00am as we worship together and encourage one another in Christ’s love.

Finding Mercy In The Way Of Sorrow

Dear Friends of Burnside,

This Sunday, we will celebrate Palm Sunday and the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. As we wave our palm branches and sing "Hosanna!", we will also explore the depths of sorrow and struggle that ultimately led to Christ's sacrifice and victory.

The Scripture teaches us that "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5). As we transition from Lament to Celebration during this Holy Week, may our hearts be prepared to fully experience the joy of the resurrection!

I encourage you to join us this Sunday.

Finding Mercy In The Way Of Sorrow

Dear Friends of Burnside,

This Sunday, March 17th, we will be remembering Patrick's Gospel legacy and once again we'll be exploring rich biblical truths from Lamentations 4.

We will be considering how the Israelites thought “It will never happen to us!”. We will focus on how we can stand firm in our faith even during life's darkest trials. We'll discover hope and encouragement from God's Word as we learn to trust in His sovereign plan and await His promised restoration.

Whether you are walking through a difficult season or simply need to be refreshed by the steadfast love of God, came and share in fellowship as we worship our risen Saviour.

I pray you will join us this Sunday as we seek spiritual nourishment and long to have our faith strengthened. Let's gather together as God's people to proclaim His faithfulness and experience His abiding presence.
