Postcard From Kenya
Writing from Kenya, where he and his wife Karen are on a 15-day overseas visit, having arrived late on Friday they found that their luggage hadn’t come with them. With 30 hours to go before he was due to preach on Sunday morning, as he explains the proper clerical attire was culturally important. Thankfully, the suitcases arrived an hour before they left – leading to this reflective postcard from the east African nation.

Let’s Pray For Care staff
Pray for care staff within PCI’s residential and nursing facilities as they undertake a number of practical tasks and personal care throughout their working day. Pray especially for staff providing specialist end of life care for residents, which can be demanding, both physically and emotionally, but also a very rewarding and humbling experience for the staff.

Education Pray that PCI’s response to the Department for Education’s (DE) consultation on Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) in post-primary school, which closes on 24 November, will be taken into consideration when developing legislation to meet the Secretary of State’s requirements in the RSE curriculum.
