Let’s Pray For Thompson House  Give thanks for the work and witness of Thompson House – our Church’s supported housing scheme for offenders. Pray for David Farrow, the director, and his staff team as they get alongside the residents and show them the love of Christ. Give thanks for the Bible study that takes place among residents led by staff members.

Peace and reconciliation        Pray for continuing peace and the recognition of the need for greater understanding and reconciliation amongst our communities in Ireland, and around the world.

​Give thanks for new faces in church and its organisations. Pray for upcoming outreach events and as they plan ahead to Christmas. Ask God to guide Jason and the rest of the team in seeking to reach out with the gospel and in serving their community.

Pray for the children and leaders of the weekly Kids’ Connect Club. Give thanks for the recent harvest celebration and flower festival and pray for gospel fruit from the many connections the congregation made with the local community.

Let’s Pray For Derek and Jane French, global mission workers, Spain  Pray for the student ministry in Bilbao International Church, especially as they welcome new students and encourage them in their studies. Pray for the Women’s Bible Study Fellowship holding its monthly study and breakfast on 28 October. 

The National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon (NESSL)  Pray for the Synod’s rehabilitation and assistance programme for Syrian families affected by the earthquake in North West Syria earlier this year, especially initiatives to restore housing and provide support for rent payments.

Pray the Lord’s Prayer for Missionaries

The next time you receive a missionary prayer letter in your inbox, or when you pray over a list of missionaries during your private devotions, or as you beseech God for the work of missions in your church prayer meeting, allow the Lord’s Prayer to give you focus. Pray for Christ’s missionaries according to Christ’s direction.

Pray for EQUIP: for Mission – a MAP (Mission Action Partnership) Student event in collaboration with Belfast CUs. Please pray that students would engage well with the events this week. 
Praise the Lord for the faithful witness of DkIT CU over the past two years. They have been well received as a new society and have won society of the year for the past two years. Pray that they would continue to engage their campus for the sake of the gospel.

​Girls’ Brigade Enrolment
It was great to have all the girls and their families from our GB join with us in church yesterday. The girls took part in the service and families and congregation showed their support.

Let’s Pray For Heidi England, deaconess, Railway Street, Lisburn   Give thanks for deepening fellowship, and opportunities to connect with visitors, at Wednesday drop-in. Please pray for the newly-formed discipleship groups, that they might encourage one another to love Jesus better and show his glory in all of life.

Naas       Give thanks for some new families and individuals who have begun attending Sunday worship recently. Pray for wisdom as the Kirk Session explore how to improve the pastoral care of all who are part of the congregation.

Girls’ Brigade Enrolment
It was great to have all the girls and their families from our GB join with us in church yesterday. The girls took part in the service and families and congregation showed their support.

Let’s Pray For Naomi Leremore, global mission worker, Kenya Pray for Kenyan communities where flooding is a problem during heavy rains, asking for the protection of lives and livelihoods from the effects of the El Niño weather event. Pray for the team involved in preparing materials and for the printing of the Christian music Bible study guide and the special TEE @ 40 celebration book.

Hungarian Reformed Church (HRC)  Pray for the projects of Hungarian Reformed Church Aid and the Transcarpathian Reformed Church as they continue to support refugees and those internally displaced by the war in Ukraine.
