28 – 31 March
There is a crucial and strategic need to serve students and CUs in Limerick and the West better. Pray for financial giving to make a new Staff Worker post possible, and the person of God’s choosing to appoint.
Pray for the CUI team as they continue to plan for EQUIP (29 August – 2 September) and for all the elements of preparation needed. Pray for the CUI Staff Workers as they balance this alongside the day–to–day of working with students.

Let’s Pray For International Meeting Points (Belfast) Pray for all who come seeking advice, help or support from the Meeting Points in North and South Belfast. Pray that many of them will come to know and love the Lord. Pray too for the staff, including Shirley McGonigle - a new member of the team in North Belfast as she settles into her new role.

Christ Church, Limerick Pray for God’s blessing on Rev Stephen Hancock and the United Presbyterian and Methodist congregation of Limerick as they continue to worship God and share God’s love with others in the city.

Let’s Pray For Moderator

As the situation in Ukraine continues, pray that there will be a significant response to the Moderator’s Appeal to enable the various partner relief agencies to bring badly needed supplies to the people still in Ukraine and the millions of displaced people who have fled to neighbouring countries.

Worship: Expressing our praise   

As we worship today ask God to help us to do so with hearts grateful and thankful for all that he is to us and does for us.

Ukraine 

Pray for protection for people in Ukraine and an immediate end to the war. Pray for the millions displaced in the country and those who have fled Ukraine, that they will find safety, shelter, food, clean water and medical assistance. Pray for the ongoing work of Christian Aid, Tearfund and Hungarian Reformed Church Aid. 

Naomi Keefe (global mission worker, Brazil) 

Pray for Naomi as she leads various training sessions and as she produces Bible study material for the Good News Club children and teenagers. Pray too for the street evangelism events planned for Easter.

Abortion Services
The Presbyterian Church in Ireland (PCI) has expressed its ‘deep regret’ and ‘grave concern’ at the continued and unhelpful undermining of devolution by the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, as he signalled his intention this week, to give himself further powers to direct abortion services - powers which could now also impact education.
