This week we on Beside The Burn we turn back to James asking How Do We Cope WIth Suffering?
The Gospel Coalition have produced a playlist of 100 songs inspired by the book of James, and I intend to share some of those songs each day on the Blog, but you can listen to the full playlist during the next few weeks as we continue our studies in this book. I have benefited greatly from listening to these songs over and over again as I have asked God to speak from His word.

Let’s Pray For United Mission to Nepal (UMN)
Give thanks that UMN’s general agreement with the government of Nepal has been signed. Pray that the interim project and Covid-19 response agreements will now be signed quickly. Peter & Valerie Lockwood (global mission workers, Nepal) Pray for the challenging situation in the UMN hospitals in Tansen and Okhaldhunga as they provide primary healthcare and are at the frontline of the Covid-19 response. Pray too for the Lockwood family as they work through the changes that Covid-19 has necessitated. |

The prayer points for this week. 24 – 30 June Pray for the last day of the Relay programme on 25 June. Praise God for all that he has done through and in the lives of our five Relay Workers this year. Pray for them as they transition out of Relay and into their next steps. Pray for quality rest for the whole CUI staff team as they enjoy holiday time with families. Pray they would return refreshed and refuelled for the year ahead. |
