This week we on Beside The Burn we turn back to James asking How Do We Cope WIth Eternity?
The Gospel Coalition have produced a playlist of 100 songs inspired by the book of James, and I intend to share some of those songs each day on the Blog, but you can listen to the full playlist during the next few weeks as we continue our studies in this book. I have benefited greatly from listening to these songs over and over again as I have asked God to speak from His word.
You can stream the playlist on Spotify or on Apple Music right now.

Let’s Pray For Tracey Nicholl (deaconess in St James’, Ballymoney)
Pray for Living Hope Community which Tracey is involved with, who hope to distribute school uniforms in August to families in need in their local community. Pray also that the Lord would use Tracey in this time to glorify him.
Pray for the urban mission congregation of Westbourne in east Belfast. Pray too for the local community, especially over the summer months, when tensions can increase.
“Reading Between The Lines” a series working through the bible looking at the well known phrases.

These songs represent both cross and kingdom, grace and glory, redemption and resurrection—and that’s what I would like to be the last word in this life in the first word in the next.
During Advent we thought about Abraham and Melchizedek in our study of the book of Hebrews. The bible project has produced this animation to explain in a little more detail.
