Let’s Pray For Mission Department Staff   

Pray for the staff team in the PCI Mission Department as they prepare to help support the Church in this new year of work and witness in Ireland and globally.

Craigavon, Rev Lachlan Webster, minister 

Please pray for ‘Amazing Kids’, a monthly Sunday club for children with additional needs. Thank God for the connections made since starting this ministry in February and for more opportunities to serve and bless children and families in this precious community.

Let’s Pray For Volker and Jinhyeog Glissmann, global mission workers, Southern Africa 

Pray that the Glissmanns would continue to know the Lord watching over them as a family, granting good health, safety in travel, and guidance during what has been a time of transition, especially for Micha as he prepares for university.

Malawi  

Pray for Malawi’s President, Lazarus Chakwera, that he may give wise and godly leadership as the country continues to mourn the death of Vice President, Saulos Klaus Chilima, in a plane crash in June.

Let’s Pray For Donabate

Give thanks for the presence of the congregation in the town of Donabate. Pray for the Lord’s blessing as they worship and witness in their local community and remember Rev Andy Carroll in his time of sabbatical, praying that he would benefit from it.

Deaconesses   

Pray for all our deaconesses as they begin this new term. Give thanks for the work they have done and continue to do for God’s glory. Pray that they would share the love of Christ with those they meet.

Holidays

For the second leg of our holiday we moved to Cambridge and most days again we went for a little tour round on our bikes. Cambridge is very flat and ideally suited to cycling. Some days we toured round with our friends who we were on holiday with.

Let’s Pray For Knowing the blessings of God in worship  

‘The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace.’ Numbers 6:24-26.

Ask that as you worship today you may know the blessings of God’s favour, grace and peace.

Edwin and Anne Kibathi, global mission workers, England   

Pray for Edwin as he oversees fellowships of East African expatriates in London, Birmingham, Reading and Luton, and as the possibility of beginning a gathering in Southampton is explored.

Hungarian Reformed Church 

Pray for József Steinbach, Bishop of the Transdanubian Reformed Church District, as he settles into the role of President of the Synod of the Reformed Church in Hungary to which he was elected back in April of this year.
