Let’s Pray For EducationPray for the Education Authority, teachers and politicians as they work out how to respond following the courts’ ruling on JR87. Give thanks for Christian parents, teachers and Christian organisations, such as Scripture Union, and for the work that they do as a Christian witness to children and young people.
Bereavement Pray for those known to us who are bereaved and coping with grief. Pray that as they mourn a loved one, they will know God’s loving comfort and presence. Remember those experiencing different stages of grief – shock, disbelief, confusion, depression, anger and acceptance. Give thanks for the support of loving friends and family, especially during the Christmas season, when that feeling of missing a loved one can be more profound.
