Let’s Pray For Disability Services Pray for Caroline Yeomans, Head of Disability Services, as she returns to her position after
a period of maternity leave. Give thanks for Caroline’s dedication to the work of Disability Services and for the services she oversees – Aaron House, Lawnfield House, Willow Brook/Topley Terrace and Peacehaven. Oireachtas Give thanks for those who serve in Dáíl Éireann and Seanad Éireann. Pray that each one would carry out their responsibilities seeking to pursue a peaceful and just society, with courage and determination to work for those who are most vulnerable in society. General Council Pray for the ongoing preparations of the 2022 General Assembly. Remember especially the work of the General Secretary’s Department as they finalise many of the practical details. Remember also the staff of the IT Department who will be engaged in the preparations for Assembly. Linkage Commission The Commission meets on Tuesday 24 May, with many items of business, including a number of congregations asking permission to call a minister. Pray for the commission and its convener, James Livingstone, as it seeks to be obedient to the Lord in this meeting, and in allocating ministry resources across the denomination. |
