This week we continue a brand new series for the summer, “Meals With Jesus!”.
One of the things that we have all missed during the Covid Restrictions is being able to eat together with friends and family. These are always such important occasions when we catch up, encourage one another and learn about each other’s lives. In church we have missed sharing those cups of tea and catching up, so this summer we are going to eat a number of meals with Jesus, continuing this week at the Home of Levi The Tax-Collector.
Each day we look in a little more detail at the passage from Sunday - Luke 5:27-32
Let’s Pray For Paula Burrows (deaconess in Ballygrainey, Co Down)
Pray that God will use Paula’s ministry to touch the hearts of the congregation of Ballygrainey, both young and old. Pray that the activities planned for the summer will bring glory to God and that many people will see the love of God in action. Bray (Co Wicklow) & Blackrock (Co Dublin) Give thanks for in-person worship. Pray for the congregations as they reconnect with each other and that they will follow God’s leading as they move into a ‘new normal’. |

Q) What Do Justification and Sanctification Mean?
A) Justification means our declared righteousness before God, made possible by Christ’s death and resurrection for us. Sanctification means our gradual, growing righteousness, made possible by the Spirit’s work in us.

While we were in Keswick in The Lake District, Keswick At Portstewart was taking place virtually, some of you may already have watched the broadcasts during Convention Week, but in case you have missed any I will share them on the Burnside Blog over the next few days.
4 Ways To Redeem Your Time

Ray Ortlund has shared these Psalms
- For when we feel crushed under our own stupidity: Psalm 51.
- For when we envy bad people who succeed: Psalm 73.
- For when we are attacked but are truly innocent: Psalm 4.
- For when life is going really well: Psalm 145.
- For when God forgives the unforgivable: Psalm 32.

I’m trying to catch up on some of the things taht we may have missed during July. Fanning the flame all over the island, The Moderator, Rt. Rev. Dr. David Bruce reflects on the church’s experience of the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns, North and South, and how God might be preparing us for a new season of fruitfulness in life and witness. http://bit.ly/3dpCKYF |

I used to ask you on the Blog, “Where Is It?” until there was no where left in Portstewart to guess, but here are a couple of pictures and I ask,
