This week we continue week 4 of the Journey of Lent, a journey of 40 days through the Wilderness with Jesus Christ towards Easter. We will discover that Wilderness is a much more positive experience than we might imagine and we pray that we will be drawn into a deeper relationship with Jesus as we embark on a Sorrowful Journey with Jesus.

Why Do We Pray (40 minute audio)
If God has already determined what is going to happen, why pray? Yet God’s Word commands us to pray! The Bible clearly doesn’t see a contradiction between God’s absolute sovereignty and the fact that he works through our prayers. On this episode of Let’s Talk, Jackie Hill Perry, Jasmine Holmes, and Melissa Kruger talk about why we don’t pray sometimes. https://t.co/gnkvSKIAiQ |

Speaking into the ongoing tensions linked to Brexit, the Northern Ireland Protocol and its outworking, Presbyterian Moderator, Right Reverend Dr David Bruce, has appealed to those with responsibility for finding the necessary solutions to work together, even if at times that means disagreeing well. He also condemned over recent weeks the use of threats against politicians and others, and urged his fellow Christians not to shirk their responsibility to pray for those whose job it is to find the necessary workable solutions. https://www.presbyterianireland.org/News/March-2021/The-post-Brexit-path-disagreeing-well.aspx |
