Let’s Pray For Global mission workers in the UK Edwin and Anne Kibathi serve the East African diaspora as part of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa UK Outreach in London. Pray for the church meeting virtually in this time. Global mission workers in the UK Give thanks for the youth and children who have been meeting via Zoom. Pray that these services would continue to spiritually empower and encourage the young people. |
A beautiful song sung by a P7 pupil, Grace Semple from Drumrane Primary, called “The Poppy Song”. This was written by a member of the E3 North Coast District Support Team, Alison Steen, who is principal of the school. It is a very moving song and captures the real heart of Remembrance.
A small Remembrance Service took place at the War Memorial on the Promenade on Sunday, here are some photographs. Only 4 official wreaths were laid but other wreaths were laid throughout the day.
Dr. Bruce comments, “I considered it an honour to be invited to lay a wreath at the cenotaph in Armagh on Remembrance Sunday afternoon. Thank you to the minister and people of 1st Armagh Presbyterian Church for their kind and courteous welcome.
