A beautiful song sung by a P7 pupil, Grace Semple from Drumrane Primary, called “The Poppy Song”. This was written by a member of the E3 North Coast District Support Team, Alison Steen, who is principal of the school. It is a very moving song and captures the real heart of Remembrance.
A small Remembrance Service took place at the War Memorial on the Promenade on Sunday, here are some photographs. Only 4 official wreaths were laid but other wreaths were laid throughout the day.
