Christian Unions Ireland
The prayer points for this week. 12 -18 November Praise God for the diversity found on the RCSI campus. The nations are well and truly on our doorstep and it gives the CU here a great opportunity to share the good news of Jesus with those who have never had a chance to respond to the gospel before. Pray for the small campuses of Carlow and Wexford, both places with great need and very few Christian students. Pray God would give the small CUs a boldness and confidence in the gospel, and everything they need practically to reach unbelieving students. With the new student’s union building having just opened at Queen’s this year, please pray that the CU may make wise use of these buildings so that they can be seen and be a blessing through the new student hub. Praise God for the new intake of freshers at Queen’s, and for their enthusiasm to serve their fellow students. The launch night of the CUs nightclub ministry saw 60 students show up to serve – praise God for this enthusiasm and pray that this heart for evangelism would grow even more throughout this year. |
